JOJ Ep. 25 - Cole Berube
Monday Feb 13, 2023
Monday Feb 13, 2023
In this episode, I had the opportunity to sit down with Cole Berube, a commercial pilot holding a Private Pilot's License (PPL), Instrument Flying Rating (IFR), and both a Single Engine (CSEL) and Multi-Engine (CMEL) Commercial License. Cole was flying solo before he could legally drive by himself....
Listen as we discuss the training it takes to become a pilot, his first solo flight, the safety of flying multi-engine vs single-engine, flying over the ocean, the Bermuda Triangle, aliens, and the Chinese spy balloon.
Additionally, Cole details the different types of aircraft he has experimented with, such as the CJ Citation 525, Citation 560 XLS, and the Lear 60 XR and Classic.
Cole has been flying privately owned jets since he was 16. The pilot talks about how there are three branches of aviation: General (Ga), Business (BA), and Commercial (CA). He explains that while many people pursue commercial aviation, he actually prefers commercial cargo flying with companies such as FedEx or UPS.
